Why should I choose your venue?

What is your maximum capacity?

60 seated comfortably
100 theatre style

Are outside food and beverages allowed?

Yes, outside food and beverages are permitted. No cooking is allowed onsite. Alcoholic beverages are
permitted but must be served by an insured bartender or appropriate insurance to be secured.  Per Anne Arundel County law, a one-day liquor license must be secured.  No selling of alcohol is permitted on the premises.

What is included in the rental price?

We have a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, and refrigerator, (15) 6 ft rectangle tables, 3 cocktail tables, 100
black folding chairs and WiFi are included in all rentals.  Additional decor needs can be coordinated.

How do I reserve a date?

Dates and times are confirmed once a signed contract with a $250 non-refundable down payment (applied towards the total balance) are received within 24 hours of receipt of the contract. The balance is due 14 days prior to your event.

A $250 refundable damage/liability deposit fee, and a $75 service fee will be added to each booking. 

Holiday dates will be charged a premium flat rate

What are your rental rates?

Monday – Thursday starting at $150/hour (2 hour min); Friday and Sunday starting at $200/hour (2 hour min); 

Saturday starting at $225  

Saturdays, our busiest day, must be booked 9am – 3pm or 5pm – 11pm, unless otherwise coordinated. Timeframe include set up, actual event time, and tear down. Additional time may be secured based on availability for an additional fee.

Do you provide decorations?

We do not provide decorations, however, decorating and other event needs may be available for an additional
fee by one of our vendors. Our in-house resources and preferred vendors will ensure you have what is needed to be successful.

Are DJs and live music allowed?

Due to the intimacy of the space and proximity to a neighborhood, a full DJ setup and a live band may not be conducive. A Bluetooth speaker with music is more than enough to fill the space. We invite you to visit Chael to see for yourself.
